Jazz quintet, consisting of vocal soloist along with guitar, piano, base, drum, and
saxophone players, will play a wide array of familiar pop songs on the stage in
celebration of the APPES 2008. The jazz band has performed in numerous concerts
and big events, and their swinging music will surely astonish the audience with its
dynamic yet quiet jazz, including standard, classics, and contemporary songs. |

The Little Angels are group of dedicated and spirited young girls ranging from seven
to fifteen years of age who have been especially selected and trained in Korean folk
arts. Formed 40 years ago, the group has given over 5,000 performances in 50
countries. They have performed for former U.S. President Eisenhower, Queen
Elizabeth, the General Assembly of the United Nations, and many other influential
people around the world. The Little Angels are often called the cultural ambassadors
of good? will from Korea.
Divided into 4 parts, The Little Angels choir will end their grand performance by
singing traditional folk songs of the Asia-Pacific region, in hope to become one in
harmony |

NANTA is a nonverbal performance integrating Korean traditional "Samulnori" rhythm
with comic and drama, in which audiences of all ages and nationalities can enjoy.
NANTA made its international debut in 1999 at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where
it received an award for best performance. Since then, it has been staged in the
U.K., Germany, Austria, Italy, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, the Netherlands, and
Australia. With plenty of support from successful oversea performances, in February
2004, NANTA finally opened a long term performance in Broadway New York, being
the first in Asia. It was also voted to be one of the 10 most famous tourist attractions
in Seoul by Korean Tourist Service. |
